Affordability for All

For far too long, the working-class has struggled to make ends meet while politicians focus on the needs of their largest donors. Born and raised in Waynesboro, I know what it is like to work hard without moving a single step forward. Rather than engaging in partisan political distractions, elect someone who will stand up for the good people of Franklin County.

Meet Me, True and Authentic:

I was born and raised right here in Waynesboro, PA to a middle-class family. From an early age, I learned the importance of hard work and the value of family. I am a proud mother, wife, and pet mom. When I look at them, I know that I want to help build a better future for them to experience by my side.

Spending most of my childhood years in the Waynesboro Area School District, I participated in softball, wrestling, basketball, and baseball throughout middle and high school. Through all of those athletics, I became a more resilient, dedicated person. When I put my mind to something, I accomplish it.

After high school, I went to college for Special Education and proudly taught in Title 1 public schools for 4 years. I gained so much valuable knowledge through my time as a teacher and I will cherish those years for the rest of my life. Our public schools are our nation’s lifeline, and I will always strive to support them.

Outside of work and school, I love to spend time outdoors, whether that’s hiking, attending festivals, or playing with my family. I am also an avid sports fan and could easily hold a conversation about college football for hours. I understand the importance of work-life balance and will fight for the hard-working families of Franklin County to ensure balance in their lives.

This is who I am..

As your future state representative for Pennsylvania’s 90th District, I will stand steadfast for farmers, blue-collar manufacturers, families, and everyone in between. We live in such a polarized world that wants to silence the other side, but I believe in the power of love and unity. Every individual deserves to be heard. On Day One, I will draft and sponsor the following bills to help people from all backgrounds:

  1. Raise the minimum wage across the state of Pennsylvania. I would propose a baseline of $17/hr. with adjustments for counties that have higher costs-of-living.

  2. Make living affordable again. I will advocate for a decrease in our very high gas tax and push for more corporate accountability in the maintenance of our roads. I will advocate for increasing the income limits for childcare assistance programs in the state to help middle-income families. With energy bills on the rise, I will draft a bill to establish a cap on the percentage of one’s income that can be used to pay for this necessity.

  3. Make healthcare affordable again. I will advocate for raising the minimum income requirement for Pennie, our state healthcare marketplace, so that more middle-class families qualify for assistance.

  4. Allocate more funds to vocational technology schools across the state of Pennsylvania, including at Franklin County’s VoTech. As the workforce requires more skilled trades, we need to increase access to training programs.
